I wonder if this is the daughter of Andrew Capehart (Kephart) born July 26 1807 in Philadelphia. His daughter, Mary was born 28 Sept 1834 in Philadelphia. The family moved to Belmont Co., OH where her siblings, George and John were born. Siblings Henry and Elizabeth Ann were also born in Ohio. I also have listed a sibling, Andrew Jr. but have found no other record for him.

Is the Deep River you are referring to in IA? Andrew and his wife Luttitia "Leita" Briggs, as well as son Henry Lewis are buried not too far from there. You also mentioned Hickory Grove. Where is that located.

The birthdate you give is the same date as our Mary Capehart. The name Kephart and Capehart are both used for several years.

If this is the same Mary I have the family line from Andrew's father, John Kephart through my husband. I am currently trying to determine if Henry Kephart son of the junior Henrich Gebhardt is John's father. This would be Nicolas Gebhardt's brother.
