Kepharts in Philadelphia, PA

I am hoping to get some help regarding Kepharts in Philadelphia. Here is what I "know":

*John (Kephart/Gebhardt) had a son named John (John G?), who had a son named William.

*William lived in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. William was born around 1809 and he married Sara Bainbridge. I think he owned a farm around Penn St. and Germantown Avenue and died in 1856.

*He and Sara had five sons: John, Charles, William, Sylvanus and Alfred, all of which served in the Civil War.

*William and Sara's son John (1830-1865) had a son Edward (1852-1898), who married Mary Knox.

*Edward and Mary had a son Edward (1888-1957?), who married Mary Agnes Quinlisk.

I am looking for information about William's parents and siblings, grandparents, etc. I am wondering if my John and William are not connected to the Gebhardt/Kephart line that starts with Heinrich Gebhardt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
