My line starts in Haddington (Edinburgh) and I have a John Keppie (1786-1851) who had 13 kids.
I have been appointed by Jim Keppie (Edinburgh) as Australian rep for the Keppie Tree. Sadly just getting back after an absence of 3 years.
I cannot find references to Tait, Wilson or Chalmers.
I have a reference to a Janet Penston married to William Keppy who was a Weaver in Longniddrie. William was born 1736. William & Janet had 5 children. They were the grandparents of the branch that came to Australia and settled in Paterson NSW
