What I've gathered so far is shaping up like this: Francis Kerby (d. 14 Oct 1831 aged about 73)who was a Freeman and Rev. War Patriot married Elizabeth Collard. Their son, George Kerby (b. 1785 in Harmony Hall) married Margaret A. Norfolk 25 Feb 1834 (she d. 7 May 1840). She should be the mother of the Francis you mention b. 6 Nov 1836. I believe this Francis mentioned in the delinquent tax rolls of the early 1870's, when George Wilson purchased Harmony Hall for the price of the taxes. Thus, Harmony Hall Plantation was in the family for about 100 yrs. Though George may have married several times, I'm not at all sure he is the father of William Kerby (b. c1801 d. 29 Mar 1871). As you know, there are several Kerby/Kirby males buries at St. John's Episc. in Prince George's Co, Maryland like those above. Five of them are supposed to be brothers, but I do not know which. I suspect the John Baptist Kerby (d. 1 Apr 1828 aged c. 78 yrs) was the original Francis' (the Freeman) brother, but is he my William's Father? Thanks for your help.
