I just saw the message you posted on the Kercher GenForum site on Aug.
6. Thanks. I had forgotten about Christian Kercher. He is also listed
(as "Christ. Kercher) as a "Farm Hand" in the 1870 census in the
household of Mary A. Banker, the widow of Solomon Banker. Their
daughter, Elizabeth, married Henry Kercher. I'm descended from Solomon
& Mary Ann's son, David.
You mentioned that there were two other daughters of Henry and
Elizabeth listed in the 1860 Census; any ages for them, or for
Christian? Do you know how this Henry is related to the other Kerchers
in Mont. County?
