Yes you are right Melissa. William Turner and Kerfoot were partners. William was my 4G grand father. On vault no 20 in St Elphin's churchyard where Maria is buried the inscription reads died 5 Jan 1842 and buried 10 Jan 1842. Aged 65/66 Sankey Street.
My grand mother was Nora Turner. I have been working on a memorandum of the history of the Turners concentrating the descendants of Dr Thomas Blake Turner of Tuam, Co Galway. (Blake was his mothers name. Her male line of descent is verifiable in that area back to the time of King John - the Blakes, or Cadell before they changed their name held the title of Baronet of Galway and the 17th Baronet died only last year, without issue.
Looks like were are something like 4th cousins.
The relationship between Kerfoot and Turner was close and they were involved in many deals together.
