Trying To Find A Confirmed Connection
Posted by: Danielle Williams (ID *****4920) Date: March 21, 2010 at 17:20:44

Through the sources I have found and read... I believe that I have found a significant connection between myself and William Kerfoot (who bought a plantation in 1763 in VA).

Currently I'm looking for any advice on how to go about finding a record that connects William Samuel Kerfoot (b. 1785) and William P. Kerfoot (b.1824). I know that William Samuel Kerfoot was born in VA but later moved to Pennsylvania. I also know that he had a son named William. I have census records stating that William P. was born in Pennsylvania. Now I'm just looking for some kind of connnection, but I really don't know where to start. I have only found 2 census records with William P. Kerfoot and neither of them have linked him to his father, (possibly) William Samuel Kerfoot. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
