Hello, from one Kermath to another.I was browsing when I came across your message. I live in Paisley Scotland which is 7 miles from Glasgow. What can I tell you ? What do I know? My cousins daughter has researched the name and from the information I have I can go back to the parents of a David Kermath born in 1810. There are still a lot of blanks which I plan to research. I have often thought about looking into the name but kept puting it off. At the moment I am quite keen to follow through. I was born in Paisley in 1947 (another way of saying I am 53). If there is a connection it would go back to around 1900 when I believe my grandfather and his two brothers emigrated from a place called Longforgan or Leslie in Fife in the east coast of Scotland to America.(Still to be confirmed) Thats not like the East/West in the States, it is only a two hour drive from Paisley. I am hoping to obtain more information on this from the only surving daughter of my grandfather. She is 91. If you wish any further information please e-mail me and I would also like to receive any information you may have. I look forward to receiving your reply
Kindest regards
Norman Kermath
