Patrick was Anna Rose's father, born March 9,1847 in Brooklyn Kings, New York and died July 4,1910 and buried in Holy Cross Cemetery. As far as I can find out it was shortly after his parents came over from Ireland. Her mother was Julia Bloom, Their children were:

#1 Mary Ellen

#2Anna Rose

#3 Walter J.

#4 William Nichols

#5 Florence

#6 Raymond Augustus
I have been researching since 1978 and plan to someday put this all in book form. I put books together for my 4 kids last year for Christmas, but want to have some published. I have birth, death, marriage, internment on most of the Kernan's around here.
Our name was spelled Kiernan when Patrick's parents came over from Ireland. As far as I know Patrick was the only child that changed the spelling and I think he was quite a character. May of had to change the spelling ha ha . Mary Kernan

P.S. I know he was involved in moonshining.
