I would be very greatful for any information I can get on the Kernke genealogy as I have asked my Grandmother but she has only vague knowlege.
As far as I know it is my great great grandfather that came out from Germany. But that is about all the knowledge I have been able to obtain. However, my aunt is married to a Polinski and my grandmothers maiden name is Ammenhauser. So its Germans in abundance on that side of the family.
I am not sure if I told you that my family is from Maryborough, Queensland.
