I am not sure if this is any relation but I am looking for info for Robert Kerr born 1792 in Ireland but was in Iredell County, North Carolina in 1830. The only sons that I could find listed was the one I was looking for-Robert. I have not gone on the census for this Robert Kerr and I do not think I could find one that lists the names anyway. I believe he is the father of Robert Kerr b 1815 or 1822 at HoneyBrook, Mifflin County, PA. He married Matilfa Cochran b 1826 in Honey Brook and they had a daughter Eliza Jane Kerr b Feb 13, 1849. Her death certificate lists her parents info and I found Robert's fathers info on various trees in ancestry. Robert Kerr b 1792 had a father Nathaniel J. Kerr, at least I think this is right, who was born in Ireland 1776 and came with his wife Nancy Provans who I believe was in Randolph County, NC in 1779. I am not sure this info is correct just starting on this branch for my husband's family tree. But Iredell County, NC is in their records as it could of been where they went when they came to America. Do you think they could be related to your John Kerr? Cindy
