Hi Marilyn,

It appears that we are from the same Kerr. I just found out that James Kerr's parents (Gavin and Jane) might be from Dumfries-shire, Scotland (Gavin born 1774 and died in 1860 in New Bandon New Brunswick). Please be advised that everything what I said here has not been verified yet.

I understand that my great grandfather, William James Kerr had his older brother, his name was Sam. There were several brothers and sisters). William James Kerr was born in Antigonish Nova Scotia then moved to New Brunswick then to Ottawa then to Manitoba and then the last place, Saskatchewan where he died in 1929.
