Brooklyn Standard Union December 16, 1931 Obituaries/News Articles MISS KERRIGAN IS BURIED TODAY
Mayor WALKER, Borough President HESTERBERG and members of the Board of Aldermen today attended the funeral of Elizabeth KERRIGAN, sister of Charles F. KERRIGAN, assistant to the Mayor, who died yesterday at her home in Long Beach. The funeral was held from the Chapel of John T. GALLAGHER, 2549 Church avenue, at 9:30 A.M., with requiem mass at the Church of the Holy Cross,Church and Rogers avenue. The Rev. J. ROCHFORD was the celebrant. Among the many persons who attended the obsequies at the church were
ex-State Senator Alvah W. BURLINGAME, Hersey EGGINGTON and Charles S. HAND,Sanitation commissioner. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery. Others who attended the church services were Corporation Counsel Arthur J. W. HILLY, hairman John H. DELANY of the Board of Transportation, Mr. and Mrs. Walter BURNS, Mrs. BENZIE, the Misses KERRIGAN, Mrs. J. CORLISS, Augustus J. RINN, Water Commissioner John J. DIETZ, Deputy Records Commissioner Eugene J. DRISCOLL, Commissioner of Accounts and Mrs. James A. HIGGINS, Robert McINTYRE,George SCHWARSLER, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence WORDEN and Mary BRENNAN.
