The John Kerrigan I am looking for is listed as the owner of the plot in St. John's where my g-grandparents, Anne and John Kirby are buried. The 1870 census has Anne and her mother living with a John Kerrigan. He is 30 and was born in Mayo. I am trying to find a connection between them because we have no Kerrigans in my line that I can find. I'm beginning to think that maybe Kerrigan was Anne's mother Mary's maiden name.--Marriage name was Malee(or Maley).
Thanks for replying
