Just posting some info for those looking into this Kerrigan line.
Bridget Kerrigan, listed as a dau of John & Kate (Grady)Kerrigan married 9 Nov 1898 Lowell, MA to Patrick Kerrigan listed as a son of Thomas & Mary (Welch)Kerrigan. This couple later lived in Clinton, MA.
They had a niece named Margaret who was born in NH c1902/03 (she later married Joseph Gauthier). Margaret was a daughter of Bridget's brother John Kerrigan 1871-1957. He (John) immigrated in 1894 or 1896 to Great Falls (now Somersworth, NH) John married in NH (possibly to Margaret or Bridget Reid) about 1897. Apparently John's wife Margaret/Bridget died before 1910. They had three children named:
John -- born NH c1898 lived with his uncle Patrick Kerrigan in Slatersville, RI 1910 & 1920. John later lived in Blackstone, MA.
Patrick -- born 1900 NH, living with his father John &uncle Patrick on the 1910 cenus of Slatersville, RI. Appears to be living in Somersworth NH 1920 as Patrick "Carigan". Later married & lived in RI.
Margaret -- born c1902/03 NH, lived with aunt Bridget in Clinton, MA. Married there to Joseph Gauthier c1928.
About the older John born 1871 died 1957. He married 2nd in 1918 Woonsocket, RI to Elmire Lafayette. He is mentioned in the obit of his brother Patrick who died in RI 1941 as well as one other living sibling named Margaret who married James Casey & stayed in Somersworth, NH. He is also mentioned in sister Margaret's NH obit of 1955.
So, known siblings of the Bridget Kerrigan who married Patrick in 1898 would be:
Margaret-married James Casey in NH (born 1870s she died 1955)
Patrick-married in NH moved to RI (born 1866-1868 and died 1941)
John - married in NH, married 2nd in RI (born 1871 died 1957)
Also, possibly Katherine (born 1870s)- living with Margaret in NH on more than one census.
Also, possibly Thomas- an immigration record for 1896 shows a John, Margaret & Kate Kerrigan from Kilgeever, CO Mayo going to Great Falls, NH to "brother Thomas"
as a side note an immigration record of 1894 shows a John Kerrigan from Louisburgh, CO Mayo going to a sister Bridget Kerrigan in Great Falls. Is this the same John that came over in 1896 or another????? The 1896 imm record does not show a previous stay.
John Kerrigan (1871-1957) 2nd marriage of 1918 shows him as a son of John & "Margaret" (Grady) Kerrigan, not "Kate" Grady as shown on Bridget's marriage. Possibly the mother's name was Margaret Katherine Grady or Katherine Margaret Grady. She's listed as Margaret Grady on her 1865 marriage in Kilgeever to John Kerrigan.
