Add Kirstaetter and Kurstetter to your possible variations. This site has a ton of Kerstetter info:
(type in Kerstetter when you get there ~ it also has 2 short listings for Abraham Ditty from Dauphin [type in his name on a separate search])
More Kerstetter info here: http://genforum.genealogy.com/pa/messages/15973.html
From the records of Salem Reformed Church, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, 1800-1842, records 3621-3630 (and from the same church you mentioned, records 7282-7291), it looks like Catherina Ditty's maiden name was Woodside, married to Ditty July 25, 1839. It seems they're talking about the same people, but call her Catherine one place and Catharina the other.
Also note that the same churches had some Dittie records.
I think I have more Kerstetter info lurking somewhere, that I'd saved to research more later. I'll look there later and see if it clears up anything.
