Rich, I am a descendant of the many Kerstetters in the Barners Church Cemetary (five generations of my direct ancestors are there). I see Carol Fisher has responded to you. She has a great deal of information. I have a fair amount as well, especially on the more recent parts of the family from this branch. The Kerstetters first arrived in Philadelphia in 1727, and originally settled in Annville (near Lancaster). Shortly after the revolutionary war, various parts of the family moved northwest, settling in he farmlands on both sides of the Susquehanna River, North of Harrisburg. Those buried in this cemetary are generally from the brothers that settled near Liverpool and Oriental. For many years of my life I have attended the annual Kerstetter Family Reunion for this branch of the family, held in McAlisterville, PA Most of the descendants of that branch of the family still live within 30 miles of Liverpool, where my father was born.

Send me a note directly with some information about you and your part of the family. I will share what I have as soon as I am able to extract it from an old computer.

Regards, Ralph A. Kerstetter
