The Sentinel - Morris Kerstetter Sr., Morris F. Kerstetter, Sr., 84, Millerstown RD2, died at 8pm Saturday, February 2, 1985, at the Zendt Convales
cent Home Richfield.
He was married in 1925 to the former Jennie Forry, who survives.
In addition to his wife, hi is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Amos (Ruth) Swartz, Richfield RD1, Morris F. Kerstetter Jr., Richfield RD1, Bernard T. Kerstetter of McAlisterville RD1, Glenn E. Kerstetter of Millerstown RD2, Ralph M. Kerstetter of Mount Pleasant Mills RD2, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In his early years, the deceased operated a Millerstown RD2 auto repair garage and leter worked for Harrisburg Steel Corp. He also farmed retiring in 1965. He was a member of Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant Mills RD2.
Services were held at 2 pm Tuesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home 606 N. Front St., Liverpool with the Rev. Lear E. Shambaugh officiating. Interment was in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD1.

JENNIE KERSTETTER, 95, MILLERSTOWN RD2

MILLERSTOWN - Jennie E. Kerstetter, 95, of Millerstown RD2, died at
5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 1990, at Lewistown Hospital.
She was born in Greenwood Township, Juniata County, on Dec. 17,
1894, a daughter of the late Peter and Fannie (Wileman) Forry. Her
husband, Morris Kerstetter, died in 1985.
She was a member of Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church, Mount
Pleasant Mills RD2.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth E. Swartz of Richfield RD1;
four sons, Morris of Richfield RD1, Bernard of McAlisterville RD1,
Glenn of Millerstown RD2, and Ralph of Mount Pleasant Mills RD2; 14
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, V. Pearl
Lesher of Duncannon.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the George P.
Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, by the Rev. J. C.
Mentzer. Burial will be in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD1.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

The 1910 Census shows Morris (aka Maurice) with his parents and two of his siblings. The census tells us his parents have been married for 32 years and there are 6 children, all 6 still living.

The 1900 census shows 2 more of the siblings, the eldest is likely not with the family here since the parents were married about 1879 and the first child listed was born in 1885. I have listed the next door neighbor because it is likely a brother to William.
