Clara, I expect we will be able to find the connection. I note the rare spelling variation your ancestors use of Kersteter with only one "t" preceding the final "er". (Most use a "tt" in that location. I was contacted a couple of years back by someone else who was searching her roots who also used the single "t" variation, so I suspect you might be from the same branch of the tree. I will try to find her contact information and forward it on, as well as try to find the connection your family may have with the people in my database.
