All of the names you mentioned, except Loab/Lobb, are common to Edmonson, Hart and GRayson Counties in Kentucky.
I descend from Andreas Kessinger, born abt 1700, Mannheim, Germany and who settled in Lancaster Co., PA. His son Solomon, b.03Feb1744, came from Lancaster County, PA, and his son Solomon settled in Hardin/Hart County, he also had a son anmed Solomon, but I have nothing on him.

The Cub Creek you mentioned is probably Cub Run Creek, near Cub Run, Kentucky. There are two cemeteries in the area and one is named Cub Run Cemetery. The name of the town comes from the creek which was named by an early settler who saw a bear cub run back of this small creek.
