Thank you for this information it gives me a broader understanding of my great great grandfather Jacob Kessinger. I knew that at one time in Maryland he was a Justice of the Peace and he was in business. His father George was born circa 1750 and served in the Washington County Maryland Militia during the Revolution. According to his Last Will he was very wealthy for the time. If any wish, additional information can be found about Jacob's father George Kessinger at the Indiana web site for Sons of the American Revolution. My brother and I descended from George Zebulun, Hiram's baby brother. I would like to know what sort of business my patriot ancestor was in, (he was also known as "The Reverend" George), and who exactly were his parents. Thanks
