Hi Gerry
Haven't written to you in several years as I have not been working on the Brothers/Chestnutwood line. I have recently taken up the quest again and have a question for you------
Have you ever seen Christina's name as Mary Christina? The reason I am beginning to question the name for the wife of Mathias Brothers is because on a recent trip to Bedford County, PA I found some deeds for Mathias and his wife is called Mary NOT Christina. I have never seen any documentation that Mathias's wife's name actually was Christina, only what has been posted on the internet and what Anne Bartlett had in her family history notes. So now I wonder if Christina might not be an error.
Do you have any thoughts on this or any additional information since last we corresponded?

Best regards
Marian Cornell
