Hi Jim,

Charles Chestnutwood is THE expert on the Chestnutwood family. I've sent him a couple of e-mails with no response so I'm a bit worried about him, but in the meantime, here is what I have on your Rachel:
Rachel Chestnutwood born August 11, 1783 in Berks County, Pennsylvania to Abraham (Kestenholtz) Chestnutwood and Elizabeth Harris. On October 18, 1804, she married John Mock in the 5th District of Berks County, Pennsylvania. I do have at least one child for her--Jesse Mock who was born in 1813 and was married and head of his household for the 1880 census conducted in Washington, Berks, Pennsylvania. Rachel Chestnutwood Mock died in 1850. I could be mistaken, but the word "district" nowadays in Pennsylvania refers to the precinct. Back then, I believe it was a further division of the township into smaller demographic groups with their own "mayor" and council. For example, today, the 5th district or precinct of Berks County would be Amity Township (there are other precincts within Amity as well.)
I'll also send a copy of this message to your e-mail in case you don't see it on the genforum.

All the best,
