I'm sorry, but the only two records that I have are a transcription of the marriage record for John Sheets and Libney or Lidney Ketner on 27 Nov 1828 in Fairfield County, Ohio. The wedding was performed by John Stallsmith, JP. The second record which actually names John Sheet's wife is the 1850 census where her name is clearly spelled Lyda. She is listed as age 45 (i.e. born about 1805), born in Pennsylvania. She is listed as being illiterate. They are living in Berne Twp, Fairfield County, OH. There is no occupation or real estate listed for them. The two other family members are Susan and Nancy Sheets, aged 15 and 3, both born in Ohio.

I looked at abstracts of estate records for the other Ketners in Fairfield County at the time, but didn't find any direct reference to Lyda, Lidney, or Libney. Perhaps other records will clarify her name and her relationship to the other Ketners.

I will be happy to post any other information that I uncover. Thank you for your interest.
