Debbie:
I got up this morning and decided to log in for the first time in years.I then spent about four hours writing you an extensive answer to the second part of your question and then I lost everything with a keyboard error that wiped out my entire message to you.
I am traveling at present, visiting grandchildren in Utah, and return home to Baltimore later this week, where I will try and reconstruct my message and add in the specifics from the red Kettenring Family Book 3rd Edition published 1978.
I believe we are directly related through our 4G Grandfathers but will confirm that when I get home.
The reason I chose to answer you was that you were the most recent posting, and I am all but too embarrassed to go back four years to all the other questions, as I have limited time to devote to answering questions
25 years ago i went to our family home area in the Pfalz and learned more, as well as confirming the outstanding work done by Henry Hardy Catron over a 45 year period.
I'll get back to you soon.Stay on it... the Kettenring family history is a fascinating one, especially when you look between the lines.
Sorry for the delay.
Cordially,
Robert George Ketron b.1938 San Francisco eldest of four sons of
- George Andrew Ketron only child b. San Francisco 1915 d. San Rafael CA 1992
the rest of my line later .... if you wish
