Hi, I am cousin to Kathy Bevier and the great, great grandson of John Powell Dennis and Mary Kitron (also spelled Kitren). In addition to what Kathy has written concerning our great, great grandmother, I have a copy of the death certificate for my great grandfather, William Dennis. On his death certificate, his mother is listed as Mary Kitren and her birthplace is listed as Pennsyvania. I do not have a copy the William's marriage certificate, but I did see it and copied down the information contained therein. On the marriage certificate his mother is listed as Mary P. Kitron. Finally I have a letter from my great aunt and Kathy's grandmother, written in October of 1977, who said that her grandmother's name was Kitron and she was Holland Dutch. I don't know if this adds any new information, but like Kathy Bevier, I am interested in establishing that Mary Kitron was indeed from the Kettering family.
