Hello, yes, Ketterman's orgin means Iron-worker...actually it comes from the "kettle" meaning "Tin Bender"...My Dad and Grandfather were both Sheet Metal Mechanics in their profession...My Grandfather's name was Russell Gary Ketterman. He died in 1985. My Dad is still alive... His name is Paul Edward Rosevelt Ketterman, he is 68. I also have a pic of the coat of arms...w/ the iron rods bent... I can send it to you...only it is black and white. I'd love one that is in color. I will send it to you in an email.
