My name is James Pettengill (using my wife's registration). I am a descendant of William Kewley and Francis Skuse (my great-great grandparents). I was born in Spencerport, New York (just west of Rochester) and now live in Ridgway, Colorado. Additional information: Fanny is shown as coming from County Corke, Ireland in information on my great grandfather's death certificate. William and Francis had at least one other son, named William Henry Kewley, born Nov 13, 1858, died Feb. 24, 1930, who was my great grandfather. He married Nellie Grace McKeever in Rochester, New York. Their daughter Mabel Kewley (later Mabel Kewley Gardner) was born in 1889. William Henry Kewley and Nellie Grace Kewley are buried in the Pleasant Hill cemetary in Spencerport (Ogden), NY.
I am looking for any available information on William and Fanny - when and where were they married, where they died and where are they buried, location on Isle of Man that William was from, etc. Any info you can supply would be much appreciated!
