You mention as Edward Kewley. I found an Edward Kuly in the 1870 Grimes County, Tx census index. I can't find the document though. I think they have the wrong page number, and without looking thru all pages, I won't know more.
Can you tell me if he had a brother named John H. Kewley b. 1818 in IOM? I see where he does have a brother John, but born too early.
Thanks to this forum, I have found a third cousin once removed. She has information I don't and like wise for me. We have been able to connect to the mentioned John H. Kewley.
Have you seen any further information on this John H. Kewley?
Many thanks,
Joy Boutwell McNally
