I know of a 6ft 2 inches William Kewley, born in IOM about 1879. He was a Laxey miner then emigrated to Bisbee, Arizona where he worked for 17 months for the Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Co. He lost his wife when their child was an infant; then six months later, when he was just 31, he died of suffocation when working at the 400ft level of the mine and ore collapsed on top of him. I believe there is an account of the accident in the Bisbee Daily Review of 31 August 1910.
