Ben, I have been researching the Key's for a long time but don't really have much information. I have good reason to believe Samuel Jackson Key is my line and have even offered to help pay for a DNA test for any male descendant of his but got no takers. Samuel was married to a Mollie ? before he married Mary Elkins. I have been trying for years to prove that Mollie is Mary Jane Marsh. My grandmother said her grandparents were Sam and Mollie Key from Marshall and Jackson County Ala. She said after a few years Sam and Mollie divorced and Sam married someone else and moved away. Years later they found Sam in Texas but lost contact with him. There is a marriage cert. for Mary Jane Marsh and a Samuel S. Key but I think the middle initial is wrong. Anyway my search continues. Thanks for your reply. Dannie
