George W. Keys and Elizabeth Walker Poss

I descend from James Keyes b. 1799 GA d. 1866 Itawamba County, MS. I read in "Itawamba Settlers", a historical newsletter, that James' parents are George W. Keys and Elizabeth Walker Poss of Moulton, Lawrence County, Alabama. Does anyone know how this George ties into the Keys family?

It appears from Alabama Census records that his brothers are John, Jerry and Thomas, and that he had a much younger sister born between 1820 and 1825. Elizabeth Walker Poss Keys was born Abt. 1780 in North Carolina. This George apparently died between the 1830 and 1840 Censuses.

Many, many thanks for any information.

Bliss
