I have been searching for any nugget on Frederick Augustus Keyser(b. 1838 in Germany). In 1880 census he was a Hatter living in Norwalk, Conn. His wife was Catherine Hathaway(b.about 1848 in NY)and they had 2 daughters at the time Bertha (b. 1870) and Ella b. 1865) They later had a son Frederick Howard Keyser 1882 and a son Henry Hathaway about 1887. Henry is my husband grandfather and we can't find any more than this. Henry's wife was Pearl Elvira Thomas (I think) she was raised in an orphanage in Ft. Worth, Tx with her brothers Felix and ? Any of this sound familiar to anyone?
