Hi Robyn,

Lahore is in Pakistan now, and Ludhiana is in India. The only two medical colleges that I can think of (in Lahore)from that time would be King Edwards Medical College and the one at Panjab University.
I think the alumni from KE have an association that has a web page with the acronym KEMC in its address. I doubt though that any of the older boys would be on it. Lahore, though, has a very stable population and some doctors at the KE site may be able to get information from old-timers. Good luck
