Well, Bo, I don't know if this will help you, but here goes:
1810 (All Kice) John ME, Patsy VA, Jonathan VA, George VA and Agnes VA
1820 VA (Both Kice)..........Henry M-000010 F-00101 ... Jacob M-010101 F-11110
1830 I found Kice in the following states, OH-2 Henry's in different counties, and in PA and TN.
1840 IL Henry Kice, my interest, and George H. KY (maybe the Kice in 1810.
Give this some thought:
My Henry Kice moved from VA to IL around 1836, and his son George is with him, as you can see by the following 1850 census. However, knowing the travel means, this George H. could very well be related and just decided to stay in KY.
1850 Tazewell Co, IL, Henry Kice 64 VA, Mary (Haybarger) Kice 54 VA, George 23 VA, John 22 VA, Catharine 21 VA, James (Israel) 20 VA, Sarah 16 VA, Susan 12 IL.
Henry Kice married Mary Harbarger, 23 Mar 1820, Augusta Co, VA. Her parents are Conrad and Catharine Wolfe Haybarger.
James Israel Kice, son of Henry, married Rebecca J. Kern in Woodford County, IL, most likely, Metamora TWP, on 7 Nov 1861. Their children are George H. 1863, Ira/Isa (male) 1865, Maggie 1867 and Morris 1869... all born in IL, and the year of birth is "about".
Rebecca J. Kern's parents are, George Washington Kern 1799 PA and Charlotte possibly Devinney 1797 PA.
Rebecca's sister, Charlotte Amelia Kern Butler is my g-g-g-grandmother.
