Before I get TOO excited, do you have an age for Ira? I have an Ira in my line:

James Israel or Israel James Kice, married Rebecca J. Kern 7 Nov 1861, Woodford Co, IL, most likely, Metamora Twp. The children are: George H 1863, Ira 1865, Maggie 1867 and Morris 1869. All were born in IL, and the year of birth is "about".

James parents are, Henry and Mary (Harbarger) Kice. They maried, 23 MAr 1820 in Augusta County, VA.

Rebecca's parents are George Washington Kern 1799 PA and Charlotte, possibly, Devinney 1797 PA. They had 8 children; 6 in PA. One being, Charlotte Amelia Kern PA, Oct 1836. She married Orville C. Butler, and my g-g-g-grandparents. They went from IL>MO>OK. Last place of residence is Atoka County, OK (formerly, Indian Territory).

George and Charlotte Kern moved from PA>IL after Charlotte was born, residing first in Tazewell County, then to Woodford County, Metamora Twp, where they remained until their deaths.
