Dear Vinny,
There is no Kidd family coat of arms, because coats of arms are not issued to families, despite what is often popularly believed! And, based on research done thus far, I do not believe that any of the Kidd men that are known to have emigrated to America were entitled to a coat of arms.
However, I noted that you are looking for the family of a George W. (for Washington?) Kidd of Mississippi Co, MO, father to Cecil Kidd.I checked on the census and saw that, according to the 1900 census for St. James, Mississippi Co, MO, this George W. Kidd was born in 1852 in Virginia, and his parents were also Virginia born. You mentioned a Kentucky connection, so I wondered if you knew anything more about where in Kentucky or when this family was in Kentucky.I research some of the Virginia Kidds who left southwest Virginia and moved into Kentucky and Tennessee, so I might be able to help you if you have any additional information or family stories about how this family ended up in Missouri.
