According to a family prayerbook, Richard Walden married Joanna (maiden name unknown) on 30 Dec 1761. Richard Walden died in King and Queen Co., VA, in 1797 and his widow, Joanna, died in the same county in 1803. The prayerbook gives the names and birthdates for five known children, Alecy, Lewis, Richard, Betsy and William, born in that order, with William born in 1777.

The following Will found in Christian County, KY, lists William's sister as Alecy Jeffries.

Will of William Walden, Christian County Kentucky Will Book C, Page 265. (The following was taken from microfilm marked POOR COPY)
In the name of God Amen I William Walden of the county of Christian and State of Kentucky being sound mind but seeing the uncertain of all Earthly things do hereby devise this to be my last will and Testament revoking all others heretofore made by me.
Item 1st. It is my will and desire that after my just debts are paid that John C. Richardson and Thomas Richardson both to the county of Christian and State of Kentucky have each fifty Dollars.
Item 2nd. It is my will and desire that my Friends Richard C. Faulkner and his wife Fanny each accept Fifty Dollars for their kindness to me during my illness.
Item 3rd. It is my will and desire that my Brother Richards son Thomas Walden have my Bay mare and watch.
Item 4th. It is my will and desire that my Brother Lewis Walden and my sister Alecy Jeffries have each Three hundred Dollars.
Item 5th. It is my will and desire that after the above legacies are paid that my Brother Richard Walden have all my estate of every description.
Item 6th. It is my will and desire that my Brother Rich. Walden and my friend Rich. C. Faulkner act as my Executors given under my hand this 1st Sept. 1819. (signed) W Walden.
Test. Wesley Campbell. Witnesses: Jesse Payne; Josias Bullock

The Prayerbook also lists some Jeffries children born between 1798 and 1806 or 1807.

Is anyone able to identify Alecy Jeffries' husband and children? How are Richard C Faulkner, Jesse Payne and Josias Bullock connected to William Walden?

Richard C. Faulkner married Frances Lee on 27 January 1812 at Middlesex Co., VA.

James Patterson Bullock b: June 23, 1789 in Albemarle Co. (?), Virginia d: February 2, 1858 in Gallatin, Sumner Co., Tennessee m. Mildred Gaugh Didlake, d/o Robert Didlake and Mary Baker.

Robert Didlake and Mildred Didlake, below, are brother and sister, children of John Didlake and Mildred (unknown but possibly Gaugh).

Robert Didlake was born ABT 1770 in Virginia, USA, and died May 1836 in Clark Co, Kentucky, USA. He married Mary Baker 20 May 1790 in Christchurch, Middlesex, Virginia, USA, daughter of George Baker and Rebecca Hockaday. She was born ABT 1770 in Virginia, USA.

Mildred Didlake was born ABT 1771 in Virginia, USA. She married Benjamin Walden 21 Feb 1793 in Christchurch Parish, Middlesex, Virginia, USA.

Children of Mildred Didlake and Benjamin Walden are Robert, William, Frances and Polly Walden.

Benjamin Walden who married Mildred Didlake is the son of Edward Walden, King and Queen Co, VA, Uncle of William Walden, d. Christian County, KY.

Edward Walden is a brother to my ancestor, Richard Walden, m. Joanna MNU. I am a descendant of Lewis Walden, son of Richard and Joanna Walden and his wife, Judith Kidd. They were married Sept, 1788, Middlesex County, VA.

I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has information about the above families.
