IMPORTANT medical reason VT KIDDs from jame & jessie Kidd

if u are descended from Jessie R. (Start) Kidd (daughter of Romeo Hoyt Start) who married Jame(s or r) Kidd from Scotland in 1900, in VT, I think we should talk.

There's something genetic that u may have inherited (or not**) but it has affected every descendant from Romeo's 2 kids down on my side. It is serious.

u may not have realized it as I didn't until I did some genealogy past my grandfather. (I wasnt sure who his father was until 3 days ago)

My grgrandfather, Philip Seward Start is Jessie R.'s only sibling and he may have had this gene**

I didnt even know u Kidds existed until a few weeks ago. Philip is buried there in VT. Im not even sure the Kidds that are listed in VT are in this line but there are quite a few in the 2 long lineage of the Start family areas.

**the gene could have come from Philip's Wife's ancestors so ur line isnt affected. Thats what we need to find out.

Most of us (the Romeo Start line) originated from the 1800s homestead/farms in Bakersfield and in the Rutland area.

We all date back to Wm. Start who came over to MA from England in the 1700s. Im from MA but Phil and Romeo and quite a few back were up there....

There is a Start genealogy book that chronicles our line up till the 1890's. I'd like to fill ur line in on alot of Start family trees if its ok with u.

Other than this medical flaw which U should know for all ur sakes, and ur descendants, I'd love to get to know "my family" that I never knew I had.

For what its worth, we did inherit some really good genes as well. Im happy to share what I know: the good the bad and the funny.

time to go..

hope to hear from some of u soon but U dont seem to be up on this site.....so anyone else who knows some Vermont Kidds, Please pass on my email addr. or better, this message.

Thanks and Best wishes,

Sincerely, your distant cousin,

debstart@yahoo.com
PS
I may just call some of the Rutland and Bakersfield VT Kidds' phone #s Ive acquired since I started suspecting Phil as being my ggrandpa bout 2 mo ago.
