hi there
to my knowledge kidney is an irish name derived from "o'duain" and this family is originally from co.cork where a lot of kidneys still live . my family is from cobh co. cork and my great grandfather was from macroom co.cork. have you tried the registrar in cork city ie. the catholic church .
p.s. if theres anything i can try from the irish side for you please let me know
