Hi Brenda, I am researching the origins of John C. Kidney of Huntingdon and Ste Martine,Chateauguay b 1859. I have recently started this quest to help a friend and direct descendent Alexa Kidney.I have John C's family and can trace foreward in time fairly easily.I also have the 1901.1911.1881.and 1906 census records. My major block is whether his father is John Kidney b 1831 Ireland aged 50 in the 1881 census at Ste-Malachie-d'Ormstown, Chateauguay or John Kidney b 1821 Ireland age 79 in the 1901 census for the same location.And I cannot trace any immigration records.Any help or any tree you have developed which could set us in the right direction would be most welcome.
