I am looking for information about August James Keifner, born 15 Apr 1849 in Germany. He emigrated to the US 17 Nov 1873 with Helena Preuss and her son whom he married in 1874. I found them in the 1880 Census living in Upper Town, Daviess, Kentucky. Their children included George Wilson Keifner, August Keifner, William George Keifner, John Fred Keifner, Carrie Katherine Keifner, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Keifner & John Edward "Andy" Keifner.
August died 6 Sep 1927 in Daviess County.
Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
