Theresa, Cormac was my gr gr grandfathers brother. I have a photo of Cormac that shows that it was taken by a photographer in Montpelier. Believe that he may have been in Vt to earn money before returning to Rooskeymore. Unfortunately I think that he may have been there between census counts and probably slipped through the cracks as regards to any records. There were several County Sligo Kieltys in Vt. Particularly Thomas, Lawrence and some others. There are some buried in Duxbury using Kelty variation and the older graves in Moretown using Keelty spelling. Seems that Keelty was the original spelling of the family name. Those in America eventualy going to Kelty and the relatives in Ireland opting for Kielty.
