Kiely family (Michael and Mary nee Ryan) - Clonoulty, County Tipperary

I'm looking for any information on Michael Kiely who I believe was born around 1799 in Clonoulty, County Tipperary. He married Mary Ryan who was born around 1812 also in Clonoulty. They emigrated to Australia in 1853 on a ship called the Emerald Isle which landed in Port Adelaide and later settled in the Milicent/Tantanoola areas of South Australia. I believe there was some age fudging used to get on the ship, so dates may be slightly out.

The child I have listed as coming to Australia with the couple is Daniel Kiely (born 1828 in Clonoulty). However, I believe there may have been Thomas (1824), Hannah (1828), Mary (1830) a second Daniel (with conflicting dates I am not sure which relates to mine) and James (1834).

I have plenty of information of their life in Australia, but know nothing of their life in Ireland. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone that may possibly be related, or that has any helpful information.

Thanks very much,
Loraine Kiely
