Deceased Name: Ralph F. Kienzle
SPRINGFIELD - Ralph F. Kienzle, 84, of Springfield died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at Senior Living.

He was born June 16, 1922, in Milwaukee, the son of Edward and Marie Roesch Kienzle. He married Dorothy J. Schwartz in 1942; she died in 2002. A son, Ralph Kienzle Jr., also preceded him in death.

Mr. Kienzle was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and received the American Theater Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal. He worked at Fiatallis in West Allis, Wis., Deerfield and Springfield, retiring as a comptroller after 42 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Fiatallis Salaried Retirees Club and Springfield Philatelic Society.

Survivors: four daughters, Barbara A. (husband, William) Robbins of Des Moines, Iowa, Rita C. (husband, Joseph) Nerone of Bolingbrook and Jean (husband, Steve) Zang and Jane (husband, Robert) Talbott, both of Springfield; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Agnes Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Jallas officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
