Hello Doug:
I have picked up your February 19, 2000 Message Board at 9:21:52.
My name is Shirley Helen Bolter-Baker and I am the 6th Generation of the Andrew and Mary Mathis Kier Family.
My Mother is the 5th Generation of this Family.
They came from Belimony, County of Antrim in Northern Ireland back in 1785.They settled near the Old Salt Works in Old Westmoreland County in Pennsylvannia which is near Saltsburgh, Indiana County, Pa.
Your message reads as follows:
Doug checked Book Index and of the 1400 names, neither Christian Kier or George Moultrie appeared.
Do you have a copy of the "Andrew Kier Family 1785 --- 1978"
Genealogy Book???If not, what Book are you referring to, when you say that you have checked a Book for the above two names???
I have had my 455-Page Book for several years now.My 2nd Cousin Paul E. Kier assembled and delineated it several years ago.
My Book does not have either of these two names in it either.Who is this Christian Kier and George Moultrie supposed to be???
How do they come into our Kier Family Line???I have never heard of them before this.Who were their Parents, etc???
Are you related to us, if so, how???Tell me a little about yourself.
I have found several of our Kier relatives through my Book, by posting messages on our Kier Family Genealogy Forum.
Please email me at my email address, which is [email protected].
Take care, Shirley
