My husband's G G Grandfather was Frederick Kiffer of Forest County, Pa. son of Frederick Kiffer. In our Franklin, Pa. Library is a book( by Lois M. Wike Box 598 East Hickory, Pa. 16321) called "History of Whig Hill (Hindman) Townline and Kiffer Hill Cemeteries, Forest County, Pa. This book lists all persons buried there and in many cases information about them. I have been to the Kiffer Hill Cemetery many times where Fredrick and Eliza Ann are buried. There are many Kiffers still living in the Kiffer Hill area and I met some the last time I was there. In 1860 Fredrick Kiffer with four children to his first wife (Eliza Ann Appleton) and with his second wife Eliza Ann Knicely (Knisely) and their five children moved from Clarion County by covered wagon to a cabin he built at Kiffer Hill, Forest County, Pa.
