Bazil Gordon (1768-1847) was a wealthy merchant in the town of Falmouth, Virginia. I'm afraid I know nothing about B.G. Kiger, but I am quite interested in his father, George Kiger (c.1767-1857). George was one of the tobacco inspectors at the Falmouth warehouse 1831-33 and again in 1836. I believe he operated a leather tannery in Falmouth. I would like to obtain some biographical information on him so I can footnote him in my book on Stafford County officials. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Jerrilynn Eby
