My family records show a Thomas Kiggins b. 1792 in Virginia. By chance, is there a Thomas Kiggins in the 1850 family census with Samuel or John Kiggins?
His son, John was born in 1818 in Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Lyon. Thier daughter, Clarinda Ellen Kiggins became a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, through her mother's side, but I have letters from her daughter, Clara that show signs of "blue-blood" socialite mentality, so I wouldn't be suprised to find out that there are rev. war Ancestors on both sides.
