Hi my name is Debra Kiggans LaMel and my father Robert "Bob" Lewis Kiggans did an extensive history on our Kiggans family before he died in 1995. He did other Kiggins and Kiggans Families as well that he could never connect from all over the US.
He was born and raised in Dart Washington Co Ohio (close to Marietta)
He retired from the US Army in 1966 at Fort Hood TExas and lived the remainder of his life in Killeen Bell Co TX
I have compiled a chart taken from his records and would love for anyone connected to these families to email me.
I am now the proud owner of his Kiggans Family history so many records are here.
This will be just a basic chart I have put together all his records are all in hard copy format none on the computer at all. so please bare with me if you make a request as i am not totally familiar with them as of yet.
I do intend some time in the near future to compile these records in Family groups in Microsoft Word format.
As many as there is it will take me about 5 years to finish this project.

This is mostly descendants of Thomas Kiggins who married Lydia Baxley and there descendants who spread from Ohio co VA one of there sons was my ancestor James A Kiggins b 11-29-1824 who married Mary Jane Craft
